Terms And Conditions
A deposit of $70 per pax will be collected on the first invoice before the commencement of the swimming lessons.
Please note that the lessons once started, is an ongoing swimming program and the lessons for the next month will be invoiced recurringly. Payment has to be made unless 4 lessons in advance termination notice are given.
To terminate the swimming lessons, do give a notice in advance of 4 lessons. All cancellation notices has to be given from Mon – Fri only.
1. Swimming Classes
1.1 Open Group Swimming Class
1.1.1 Absentee: Students who are absent for the whole 4 lessons will still be liable to pay for fees or risk their slots taken up. No compensations or replacement classes for students who are absent for any reason.
1.1.2 Public Holiday: No lessons during public holidays unless advised differently by the Instructor.
1.1.3 Bad Weather: Our coaches are not liable to perform make-up or replacement lessons for classes not conducted when the pool is closed due to bad weather.
1.1.4 Lost time due to late coming or the availability of the pool will not be compensated or make-up.​

1.2 Closed Group Swimming Class
1.2.1 Absentee: Students who are absent for the whole 4 lessons will still be liable to pay for fees or risk their slots taken up. No compensations or replacement classes for students who are absent for any reason.
1.2.2 Public Holiday: No lessons during public holidays unless advised differently by the Instructor.
1.2.3 Bad Weather: Please see section 3 for replacement class policy.
1.2.4 Lost time due to late coming or the availability of the pool will not be compensated or make-up.​

1.3 Private Lessons
1.3.1 Last-minute cancellation will still be counted as a lesson taken unless the instructor is informed 1 day in advance.
1.3.2 All 4 lessons have to be done within 35 days starting from the first lesson. Any outstanding lessons will be forfeited with no compensation.
1.3.3 Schedule for make-up lessons will be in favor of the instructor’s availability.
1.3.4 Bad Weather: Please see Section 3 for replacement class policy.
1.3.5 Lost time due to late coming or the availability of the pool will not be compensated or make-up.
1.3.6 Public Holiday: No lessons during public holidays unless advised differently by the Instructor.

1.4 Relief of Swimming Instructors
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the rights to send a relief swimming instructor should your instructor is unavailable.

2. Lightning Risk
2.1 In the event of rain, lightning, thunder, or any combination of the foregoing, the instructor may in his or her absolute discretion cancel the class. Such a decision may be made before or during the class.
2.2 For private classes, clients should inform the coach in advance of at least an hour if they wish to reschedule the class. No notice given in any form and coach had traveled will be considered a lesson conducted. Please take note that this point does not overwrite section 1.2.1 and only applies for bad weather.
2.3 The instructor may, at his or her absolute discretion, decide to continue with the class if the rain is light, and there are no reports of thunder or lightning in Singapore.
2.4 Classes will be halted immediately if there are reports of lightning strikes in Singapore. In the event that lightning strikes lead to the cancellation of a class conducted halfway, no replacement will be given and lesson will be deem done.
2.5 Coach may on his goodwill do an extensions of 15 mins on the next lesson, if the class had just started lesser than 10 minutes.
2.6 If the class happens to fall on the day the coach is supposed to do extensions of 15 mins. The class will be considered 1 hour done, as the coach had reserved the timeslot for the extension.
2.7 In determining whether there have been reports of thunder or lightning in Singapore, Swim Stars Aquatics shall take reference from the NEA-MSS Lightning Alert website. If you need to know the status of the closure, please consult the pool management and not the instructor.

3. Replacement Classes
3.1 For private classes and closed group classes that are affected by the weather, our coaches can in his or her absolute discretion can choose to replace the classes with in blocks of 15 mins extensions for the subsequent classes to complete the remaining time of the class or a full replacement class based on his or her own schedule. Where there are more than one family in the closed group lessons, lesson shall be replaced in blocks of 15mins extensions for subsequent classes to complete the remaining time of the class.
3.2 If the class is allocated to do 15 mins extensions on that day coach should reach on time. The class will be considered 1 hour done, regardless of any reason be it class stopped early due to bad weather, etc.
3.3 Full replacement class based on instructor’s schedule: All 4 lessons have to be done within 35 days starting from the first lesson. Any outstanding lessons will be forfeited with no compensation.
3.4 It is on the responsibility of the students to arrange an approved make-up session with our coaches to be completed within 1 month, from the date of the cancellation.
3.5 Replacement classes should not conflict with the ongoing classes, and should be arranged on another day with the instructor.

4. Refund Policy
4.1 As we are offering a service, we do not generally issue refunds after lessons. Refunds will be granted at the sole discretion of Swim Stars Aquatics. No refunds will be given after 7 days from the first lesson. Please note that by any payment made, you agree to the terms of the Refund Policy.
5. Photography & Videography
5.1 You hereby confer on Swim Stars Aquatics the right and permission with respect to the photographs that Swim Stars Aquatics has taken of my child / myself in which he/she may be included with others:
To copyright the same in Swim Stars Aquatics name or any other name that Swim Stars Aquatics may select;
To use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part, separately or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising, and trade.
To use my name or my child’s name in connection therewith if Swim Stars Aquatics so decides.
5.2 You hereby release and discharge Swim Stars Aquatics from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy.
5.3 This authorization and release shall inure to the benefit of the legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of the photographer as well as the person(s) for whom he/she took the photographs. You fully understand the contents hereof. For children under 16, you represent that you are the parent/guardian of the above-named model. You hereby consent to the foregoing on his/her behalf.

6. Responsibility
6.1 We will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of any injury, damage, or loss of life while attending this course and this includes all costs and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.

7. Changing Class Time and Venues
7.1 If you wish to change your child or ward’s class time or venue, please inform us at swimstarsaquatics@gmail.com as early as possible. We are generally unable to change your child or ward’s allocated time slot after successful enrolment.
Nevertheless, we may be able to place your child or ward on the waitlist for other classes. In the event that your child or ward is unable to continue attending his or her scheduled class due to a material change of circumstances however, you may request to change your child or ward’s allocated time slot, with the approval of such change subject to our discretion and to availability.
In the event that there are no alternate venues or time slots available, we may place your child or ward on our waitlist until a venue or time slot becomes available.
